1. 19 years of age and was ready to lose my license for 3 years:

I am 19 and am a student at Georgia Tech. I received 3 speeding tickets on my way back from work. I was going 106 miles per hour (41 miles over the speed limit) and was going to lose my license. Scott represented me and the Judge dropped the speeding ticket and one of my other tickets and I was able to keep my drivers license. I knew Scott was an awesome attorney when the Judge said that she has never dropped a ticket like this before but she would this time. I will use Scott and refer him to all my friends.

2. Almost went to jail for simple battery / domestic violence:

I met Scott several years ago when I was falsely accused by my girlfriend of simple battery / domestic violence. Scott met with my witnesses and the detective on the case and was able to get my charges dropped. Scott has represented me on some other matters and always, always, always goes above and beyond the call of duty. I told Scott that he is part of my family now and I invite him over for cookouts and family gatherings.

4. Aggravated Assault / Aggravated Battery:

I was a bouncer and was attacked by a patron that would not listen. During the course of the attack my brother and another bouncer jumped in to help get the unruly patron off of me. The patron received brain damage as a result and I was charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery for defending myself. It turned out that the patron was a fire fighter and the District Attorney wanted to force the prosecution in light of it clearly being self-defense. Scott took the case to trial and the jury acquitted me. I walked out of the Court a free man.

5. Multiple DUIs within 5 years:

I had multiple DUIs within a five-year period. I had a bad drinking problem and was going to lose my job due to a lot of jail time for my DUI charge. Scott was able to work it out with the Judge and solicitor that I could take vacation from my job and voluntarily check myself into the Fulton County Jail. The Judge reduced the time I had to spend in jail and this allowed me to keep my job as a manager in a major company. Scott encouraged me to get help for my drinking problem.

I am 18 and just started college at the University of Georgia. I drive home to Atlanta on the weekends and over the course of a year I have received 3 speeding tickets from speed traps along my route. Yes I have a lead foot and have learned my lesson now but facing the loss of my license was unbearable. Scott represented my for the last two tickets and was able to convince the Judges to let me keep my license. The Judge told me I had an excellent attorney and to slow down. I have learned my lesson but I want to recommend Scott to everyone who is in my situation.

I am 21 years old and I made a huge mistake! I went out with my friends one night and had too much to drink, I ended up getting in a wreck and hit two on duty police officer’s vehicle head on. We all were rushed to the hospital. I knew I was in deep deep trouble! Initially I hired another attorney but was not satisfied with her services. I explained the situation to Mr. Scott and he decided to take the case. Mr. Scott was able to get me the minimum punishment according to the statute. I could have gone to jail for a year. I have learned a valuable lesson and I can’t thank Mr. Scott enough.

14. DUI -Traveling in a rural county in Georgia DUI refused to take breathalyzer:

I was charged with a first offense DUI / refusal of breathalyzer. Having never been in any type of trouble before, I was oblivious to the fines and penalties that could be imposed on me for the decision I had made. Monetary penalties, probation, loss of license and jail time could have resulted from this. Scott walked me through the entire process and was always available to answer any questions that I had. Scott was able to get the judge to reduce the charges to reckless driving. It is an error I made that I will not repeat, and I am grateful that I had an aggressive, knowledgeable attorney that was able to convince the judge that I was worthy of a second chance.

16. DUI - blew double the legal limit right after I received an offer to work for a Federal agency:

I had a tough time finding a job and finally I received an offer to work my dream job at a Federal agency. I made a stupid decision to drive three blocks home from a bar because my buddy was too drunk to drive. I was pulled over and blew twice the legal limit and really had no defense. Scott fought for me all the way up to the top solicitor in the county and was able to get my charge reduced to a reckless driving. When I was young I was convicted of a felony twenty years ago. I was an out of control kid and this was the best thing that ever happened to me. This was injustice and I hired Mr. Pryor to represent me and he made sure this ridiculous charge was dropped.
