Who writes and reviews our articles
Our articles are written for The Scott Pryor Law Group and published under the firm’s name. Before an article goes up, Scott Pryor reviews it. He is the firm’s founding partner, a trial attorney and a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
You will see both at the top of every article: the firm as author and Scott Pryor as reviewer, with a link to his profile.
How we state Georgia law
The firm keeps a list of Georgia rules, such as the deadline to file an injury lawsuit and the rule for shared fault. Each rule on the list carries its section of the Georgia Code.
Our articles state Georgia law only from that list, and the citation appears right after the rule. Each rule lives in one place, so a change to it reaches every article that uses it.
Case results
Our case results page shows some of our top results. Each one names the type of case and whether it ended in a settlement, a verdict or a judgment.
Past results do not guarantee or predict the outcome of any other case. Every case turns on its own facts, evidence and insurance coverage. Many injury claims resolve for far less than the amounts shown, and some recover nothing.
Dates and updates
Each article shows the date it was last updated. We review an article when the law or the facts it relies on change. When we change an article, we change that date.
