Maria Rojas

Meet Maria

Maria Rojas is a legal assistant at The Scott Pryor Law Group, a Georgia personal injury firm.

What I do

I serve as a legal assistant at The Scott Pryor Law Group. I specialize in organizing and documenting personal injury cases, particularly motor vehicle accident claims. My role includes gathering and organizing key documents, obtaining police reports and records, communicating with insurance companies, and ensuring each case has the information needed to move forward efficiently.

Why I do this work

I enjoy organization, problem-solving, and working with information that can have a real impact on people's lives. I like knowing that the work I do behind the scenes can help the team advocate for someone who needs support.

I enjoy being able to help people during some of the most difficult and uncertain moments of their lives. When someone is going through a crisis after an accident, being able to support them, help make the process a little easier, and know that our work can make a difference in their situation is very meaningful to me.

Even when my role is behind the scenes, I understand that my work contributes directly to the client's experience.

How I work with clients

My approach to client care is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. I believe good case management starts with keeping information accurate and accessible, following up when something is missing, and communicating clearly with the people involved. Even when my role is behind the scenes, I understand that my work contributes directly to the client's experience.

I'm motivated by the idea that there is always something new to learn. I enjoy becoming more efficient, understanding the bigger picture behind the tasks I perform, and finding ways to do my work better. I also like knowing that improving my skills makes me a more reliable teammate.

Being part of the team

Being on the Scott Pryor Law Group team means being part of a team where everyone contributes something different but works toward the same goal. For me, being part of the family means being able to learn, grow, support my teammates, and know that the work I do has a purpose.

Outside the office

When I am not working, I love anything that allows me to be creative or active. I practice aerial arts, and enjoy exploring different forms of art and self-expression. I also love music and spending time with dogs.

My advice to clients

When something unexpected changes your life, it can be overwhelming to think about everything at once. Focus on what you can control today, ask for help when you need it, and trust that progress can happen even when it feels slow.

A line that stays with me: "Take life one day at a time."
