Get a free consultationWhat does a personal injury lawyer cost?
A personal injury lawyer at The Scott Pryor Law Group costs nothing up front. The firm takes Georgia injury cases on a contingency fee: you don't pay unless we win your case. There are no out-of-pocket fees, and the consultation is free. The fee is a set percentage of what the firm recovers for you.
You pay nothing out of pocket for the consultation or while your case is open. When a case ends in a recovery, our fee comes out of that recovery as a set percentage. If there is no recovery, you owe us no fee.
We are paid only if your case produces a recovery. That gives us every reason to gather the evidence early, build the case carefully and deal with the adjusters for you.
Cost should not keep you from calling. We give the same attention to every client, whatever the case is worth. A smaller claim gets a dedicated attorney and case manager, the same as a larger one.
Before you sign with any lawyer, ask what the fee is and how it is calculated. Ask us the same question at your free consultation.
What happens after I call The Scott Pryor Law Group?
When you call The Scott Pryor Law Group about a Georgia injury, an intake specialist listens to what happened, asks questions and sets up a free consultation. If the firm takes your case, you get a dedicated attorney and case manager, and the team handles the evidence and the insurance companies while you focus on healing.
Phones answered 24/7. Call or text when you are ready, whether the accident happened yesterday or months ago. If you are not sure you have a case, call anyway. We will listen to your story and help you understand your options, with no obligation and no cost.
Once you sign, your attorney and case manager answer your questions and give you updates. We preserve evidence, request records, deal with the adjusters and build the claim. You stop taking the insurance company's calls. Several members of our team speak Spanish and English.
Insurance companies handle claims like yours every day. Most people handle one once. That gap is why we take the calls, the paperwork and the negotiation off your plate. Clients describe the experience in 3,200+ Google reviews across our two offices.
In-person meetings at our Peachtree Corners headquarters are by appointment. Call ahead and we will schedule a time.
How do I choose a personal injury lawyer?
Choose a Georgia personal injury lawyer on evidence you can check: case results, trial experience, client reviews, awards you can look up, and who will actually handle your case. The Scott Pryor Law Group's guide explains each check. You can use it to compare any firm, including ours.

Frequently asked questions
How do I file a personal injury claim in Georgia?
To file a personal injury claim in Georgia, get medical care, report the crash, keep your records and speak with a lawyer before you give the other side's insurer a statement. Then we notify the insurers, gather the evidence and build the claim. Most claims settle. Some become lawsuits. Call early: Georgia sets a deadline to file a lawsuit.
How long does a personal injury case take in Georgia?
It depends on the injuries and whether a lawsuit is needed. Georgia personal injury claims can take from a few months to a few years. If we file suit, discovery alone often runs 6 to 12 months, and trial preparation can come 6 months to 2 years after filing. A case can settle at any stage.
Should I give the other driver's insurance company a statement?
Not before you talk to a lawyer. Adjusters often call soon after a Georgia crash and ask for a recorded statement. Insurers handle these claims every day, and a recorded statement can be used to question your injuries or your account of the crash. We deal with the adjusters for our clients, so you don't have to.
Will my personal injury case go to trial?
Most cases do not. A Georgia case can settle at any stage, and very few go all the way to trial. We still prepare every case as if it will, because an insurer weighs a claim differently when it knows the lawyer on the other side is ready for court.
What if I don't have health insurance?
Call anyway. We take Georgia injury cases from people who have no health insurance or cannot pay out of pocket for treatment. You pay us nothing up front, and you don't pay unless we win your case. We can talk through your situation at a free consultation.
What damages can I recover in a Georgia personal injury claim?
Damages usually fall into two groups. Economic damages can include medical bills, rehabilitation, lost wages, reduced earning capacity, property damage and future treatment. Non-economic damages can include pain and suffering, emotional distress and loss of enjoyment of life. What applies depends on your injuries, the evidence and the available insurance. We review this with you at a free consultation.
