Meet Maegan Kennerly: Junior Paralegal Committed to Your Success

JUNIOR PARALEGAL
I’m a Paralegal at the Scott Pryor Law Firm and part of our litigation team. I work closely with the attorneys to help move each case forward by assisting with legal research, drafting documents, organizing evidence, and preparing for court appearances. I also stay in touch with our clients throughout the process, helping gather information, schedule key events, and make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
My work with survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking inspired me to pursue a career in law so I could continue helping others find justice and support. I love seeing the relief and happiness our clients feel when their cases are resolved and their worries are finally lifted. My approach is client-focused and results-driven: I guide clients through the legal process, keep them informed and supported, and work hard to help them achieve the justice they deserve.
I hold a B.S. in Criminal Psychology, along with minors in Spanish and Criminal Justice, and I also have a Paralegal Certificate from Emory University. This combination of education and training gives me a unique skill set that strengthens my work and helps me support clients effectively.
I’m motivated every day by my colleagues, whose expertise and teamwork inspire me to continually grow and aim higher. Their collaborative spirit pushes me to keep learning across all areas of law.
Being part of the SPLG family means working alongside coworkers who have become true friends. It’s a supportive and collaborative environment where we lift each other up and celebrate successes together. My favorite part of working at The Scott Pryor Law Group is the people—we’re like a family, and that makes coming to work enjoyable every day.
Outside the office, I’m passionate about music, international travel, and exploring cultures and languages around the world. I play the kalimba, a small finger piano, and I’m currently learning a few other instruments in my free time. My hope is to use my skills and experiences to make a meaningful difference for people from diverse backgrounds.
A quote or statement that resonates with me: “Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.”- C.S Lewis
My advice or message to clients: Never give up hope that things will get better.
